1. Product description
Lamp for illuminating plants Helenic has been adjusted to the growth every type of plants, high-performance Luminus diode together with the square lens they provide sufficient amount of light even for the most demanding plants on very large surface. The lamp uses aluminum profile made of anodized aluminum alloy to ensure as best dispersion warm, in addition this material is corrosion resistant. The lamp has water cooling systemwhich extends its life and prevents diode degradation – the combination of the proprietary cooling system and high-end components allows long-term operation of the lamp much longer than the lamps of competitors.

4. Color/spectrum and diodes used
The color spectrum used in the lamp is warm white 4000Kelvin, it is a full spectrum containing all seven primary colors that are involved in plant photosynthesis.
Thanks to the appropriate saturated colors meets the requirements of even the most demanding plants, and the color of the light highlights the qualities of leaves and flowers.
Light from the lamp initiates every plant process, supports germination, influences growth, flowering and yielding – so it is universal spectrum for the entire plant life cycle.
The heart of the Heleonic lamp is a diode from the manufacturer Luminus, which is one of the best producers of lamp components in the world, in addition to the created series of horticulture diodes – for our plants, luminus creates lighting ranging from street lamps to surgical lighting.
The diode used in the lamp is luminus MP7070, a high-performance diode that is as good as SAMSUNG or PHILIPS diodes and in some cases even surpasses them! Its luminous efficiency is 174lm/W which classifies it as a headlamp.
5. Water cooling system
In the Heleonic lamp, an original idea of water cooling was used, it is a system that passes water through an aluminum heat sink and ensures a low operating temperature for the diode, thanks to this solution, the diode operates at an optimal temperature – as recommended by the manufacturer of the diode Luminus, this prevents degradation of the diode, extends its life and ensures that the purchased equipment can last for many years.
6. Lamp design and assembly
– The lamp uses a lens with square shape, combined with a COB LED, this allows you to achieve very high light values (umol/m^2/s).
– Thanks to the light-diffusing lens, the lamp is able to cover an area of 150x150cm while maintaining minimum value 300umol/m^2/s on the corners of the illuminated surface, which is much better than lamps in quantum technology such as Spider Farmers or Mars Hydro by as much as 32%. (Comparing the energy consumption and PPFD of these manufacturers).
– The lamp is hung with carabiners and YOYO pendants, which allow it to be hung free movement up and down.
– The lamp can also be mounted using a steel cable and clamps to move it, for example, to the right or left across a specific surface as needed.
7. Useful tips
– The lamp is designed to work in longer system than other lamps of this type thanks to the system water cooling – can work nup to 16 hours a day without fear of diode degradation and reducing its brightness.
– The lamp is able to cover surface 150x150cm and ensure optimal dose of light for plants to grow on this surface.
– It is best to hang the lamp at a height of 50-80 cm above the top of the plants.
– Suggested lamp operating time per day is 12 hours.
– The water cooling system that comes with the kit allows for heat transfer generated by the lamp outside the growing area.
