1. Product and introduction.
LED lamp with GROW technology for universal growth of all plants, mixed warm and cool white colors provide seven basic colors as well as sunand the color red, infrared and ultraviolet A, diversify the spectrum in the lamp increasing lamp efficiency and plant growth. Additionally, the color of the light emitted by the lamp is pleasant to the eye, so staying in the room with the lamp on should not be an obstacle, Thanks to the intense colors in the lamp, the lamp has a positive effect on well-being in the autumn and winter season.
The product is available in several versions, differing in length, power, but also in the color of the light emitted and application.
Lamps with the light color closest to sunlight, also called universal (such as the one described in this auction) for plant growth, flowering and coloring can be found in the following versions:

The lamp requires a power cable to operate properly. You can find it in several different versions in the “lamp accessories” tab. Aluminum construction: commonly called a “radiator”, it works like a simple radiator, dissipating the heat that is generated during the operation of our lighting.
1 – Color adapted to growth every plant, starting with herbs, salads, vegetable plants such as tomatoes/peppers, ending with flowers, cacti, citrus fruits and collectible plants.
2 – Changed diode layout for better dispersion and distribution of light.
3 – The lamp is double-sided, this allows it to be connected in series.

4. Light color / Spectrum.
The color of light emitted by the lamp is mixed, which means that some of the diodes are warm, some are cold, and we used ultraviolet-a, red and infrared diodes.
Diodes used in the lamp:
3500k – warm white.
6000k – cool white.
400nm – ultraviolet-A.
660nm – red.
740nm – infrared color.
Why did we choose red and infrared in our spectrum?
To answer this question, we will use the chart below.
Red LEDs have the highest photosynthetic efficiency relative to the electrical energy consumed. In short, this means that red produces the most growth at the cost of electricity, but combining red and infrared can increase this effect by 20-30% (depending on the number of red and infrared LEDs in the spectrum). By combining these two colors, we achieve more photosynthetic processes and, consequently, more growth.
Is ultraviolet-A even necessary? What does it do?
Ultraviolet A is optional in the lamp, it is not necessary to have it, but if we look for articles on the Internet, we can conclude that the benefits of ultraviolet outweigh the pros than the cons.
Ultraviolet-A affects the cellular structure of leaves, leaves under the influence of ultraviolet produce antioxidants, thanks to which the plant has deeper colors, stains better and absorbs elements from fertilizers much better.
5. Diodes and their arrangement.
The diodes used are quite well-known EPISTAR 2835. After conversion, they have approximately 130 lumens per 1W of electricity consumed.
The color ratio of these diodes has been adapted to plant growth, we focused on bringing it as close as possible to solar chart.
Additionally, we decided modify the board on which they are mounted. What does this mean? Typically, in most grow lights, the diodes are arranged at equal distances from each other and come in various configurations, such as diode next to diode (one behind the other) or diode next to diode (in series). It doesn’t matter whether the diodes are one behind the other or in a row, but in our opinion they are big their distance from each other is important and how it relates to the distribution and dispersion of light.
If we pay attention to the graphic below and on lamp on the right side – we can see that the arrangement of the diodes at equal distances from each other causes the central plant to receive much more light than the plants next to it, after some time it may result in the plant “outgrowing” the center and taking away light from the plants on the sides. Besides, with this arrangement of diodes the most light is emitted it falls in the epicenter so the center is lit very well, but the light is not so well dispersed. (Which is important when growing collectible plants in this case).
Our lamp, which is on the left, has diodes spaced at three different distances from each other depending on the location on the lamp. (Looking from the left side of the lamp: the concentration of diodes is large and begins to disperse towards the center of the lamp). The concentration of diodes into three different segments and their gradual dispersion allows distribution of lamp power into 3 sectors, This ensures well-dispersed light along the entire length of the lamp. This helps avoid the “hot-spot” phenomenon.
6. Useful tips that can help you when using the lamp.
What is the suggested area where the lamp works effectively?
The area covered by the lamp is 90cm in length and 30cm in width, in this case it is 90x30cm.
At what height should the lamp be hung?
The best effect on plants is achieved when the lamp is suspended 10 to 30 cm from the top of the plants. It’s possible to hang the lamp higher, but this will require longer lamp run time.
How long should the lamp run in hours per day?
In our opinion, a lamp should be on for at least 8-12 hours a day. Using the lamp for an hour, two, or even three hours can have minimal impact on plant growth. It can wither, lose variegation, or lose leaves – just compare this to the phenomenon we experience in autumn and winter in Poland. The lamp is a mini-sun and requires a similar operating time to the sun. (Graphics below, left, A, B, C)
I would like to hang the lamp higher to cover a larger area but I don’t want to buy a second lamp, what can I do in this situation?
In this case, by hanging the lamp higher, we reduce the light intensity for the plant (when hung lower, the opposite occurs). To equalize the intensity, the only option is to extend the operating time to 16-18 hours per day. For example, this lamp has a coverage area of 30x30cm. If we increase it to 40x40cm, the lamp should operate for 16 hours per day. (Graphics below, right, A, B, C).
The use of the lamp should be adapted to your plants depending on their requirements for lighting duration or light intensity, they may have different lighting requirements depending on the species.
7. Measurements with lumens and umols.
8. Connecting lamps together in series.
Lamps can be connect together in series, this eliminates the need to use several cables with a plug and/or socket connecting several timers to several lamps. The lamp is double-sided, which means that the power cable is connected on one side, which powers the power supply built into the lamp, and on the other hand we can connect a connecting cable to connect the lamp to the lamp in series or a connecting bridge, which will create a direct connection of the lamps to each other. (The graphic below illustrates the connection method).
You can combine lamps of different lengths with different light colors, as long as the total power does not exceed 140W.
If only one lamp is to be used, it is possible to terminate the other side with a plug, which is included in the set.
*Connecting cables for lamps must be purchased separately if the connecting length is to be longer than the skein/adapter included in the set.

9. Various power cables for the lamp.
For the lamp you can choose from: three different power cables. Due to the fact that you asked for longer cables (The previous one had only 1.5 m long) we decided that we would now focus on only and exclusively on the lengths of 300cm and 250cm (counted together with the socket and the lamp input).
– Standard ON/OFF power cable
– ON/OFF power cable with timer (3,6,12g)
– Standard double ON/OFF power cable (in this case the length to the switch is 202cm, a branch is created from the switch into two lamps, which is 48cm).

10. Mounting options and additional accessories for the lamp.
There are actually several options for mounting the lamp, the simplest you should use:
– Cable ties or zip ties.
– Hot glue.
– Strong double-sided tape.
– Using the brackets from the kit and screwing the screws into a wooden strip or shelf.
I also know that Some of you asked me about various other options for mounting the lamp without assembly, I tried to choose the most universal and proven solutions to no need to bother with drilling into walls or your favorite shelves, because the concept can always change.
To the offer that will help To illuminate your plants, you also need:
– Stand with thick acrylicwhich has the possibility shoulder adjustment, which means that you can set it at a height of 30 to 62 cm and adjust it to the growth of your plants.
– Clip with flexible arm, which will allow you to illuminate plants on a windowsill or shelf, for example. Simply attach it to the edge and use the handle to grab the lamp and place it above the plants.
– Mounting kit (here with drilling) with steel cable, which has the ability to move the lamp up and down thanks to which you can set the light intensity for your “Leon Professionals” by adjusting the height.

12. Operating conditions.
– Use only indoors at temperatures between -10 and 40 degrees.
– Use in places where there is free air circulation around the lamp.
– Do not use in places where there is a possibility of water exposure.
– Do not use dimmers (so-called dimmers that increase or decrease the voltage).
– Do not use on electrical installations without surge protection.
